Welcome to my webpage. I teach both Sociology and
Social Work courses at Trevecca. My primary interest
in Sociology is in the area of Family Studies
including courtship and marriage and family systems.
I am a Licensed Clinical
Social Worker and have many years of experience as a
counselor for our student counseling services. I
have certification for School Social Work by the
Tennessee Department of Education and have practice
experience in public schools. My
focus in Social Work is in direct practice with
individuals, groups, and families. I also supervise
our sophomore level Social Work practicum.
I stay
active in the community through volunteer work,
service through my church, and professional
organizations such as Tennessee Conference on Social
Welfare, Nashville Area Association of Christian
Counselors, American Association of Christian
Counselors, North American Association of Christians
in Social Work, and Nashville Social Service Club.
