Assistant Professor of Education
As Director, Ruth heads the team of
faculty and staff who are responsible for the
operations of Waggoner Library. She also supervises
Circulation and teaches in the Masters in Library
and Information Science Program in the School of
Education. She is the liaison librarian for the
Division of Natural and Applied Sciences. Ruth is
currently working on her Ed.D. in Higher Education
Administration at Tennessee State University. Her
research interests include library leadership and
the impact of electronic resources on library
patrons, services, and collections. Ruth's library
experience includes a wide variety of public service
functions in both academic and public libraries,
including Olivet Nazarene University Library,
Lubbock (Texas) City-County Library, and Western
Kentucky University Libraries. She has been at
Trevecca since August 2001.
