Currently my responsibilities include chairing the
division as well as teaching courses in social work
and sociology. Each Fall I teach Introduction
to Social Work, Working with Communities and
Organizations, and U.S. Cultural and Ethnic
Diversity. In the Spring I teach Social
Welfare Policy, Senior Social Work Field Practicum,
Peoples and Cultures of the World, and Senior Social Work Seminar.
I am active in the local
community, working with the Tennessee Conference on
Social Welfare, the Nashville Social Services Club,
the American Society for Public Administration, the
American Association of Christian Counselors, and the North American Association of Christians in
Social Work.
