Division of
Social and Behavioral Sciences
Professor of Psychology
Welcome
to the Department of Psychology at Trevecca
Nazarene University. I teach in both the
undergraduate psychology and graduate psychology
programs. My primary interest in the
undergraduate program is in the clinical area with
courses in abnormal and counseling. The
general psychology and the history of psychology are
also areas of high interest. At the graduate
level, the abnormal psychology course is my primary
responsibility and my particular area of enjoyment
is the DSM diagnosis.
My
community work revolves around being clinical
director at Woodmont Hills Counseling Center.
There the patients with which I am most involved are
mood, anxiety and personality disordered patients.
We maintain an active practicum and intern site for
counselors and other therapists and use students
from our Trevecca Graduate Psychology program.
We also use undergraduate psychology students who
need an undergraduate practicum experience.
Memberships in professional organizations are found
on my curriculum vitae.
